Zuri for President 2046

Zuri told me this morning she wants to be President one day and here are the reasons why (DISCLAIMER: I do not know if these statements are factual!!)

*There is a bowling alley in the White House;
*There is a movie theater in the White House; and
*There are 32 bathrooms in the White House.

She then said she would never have to leave except to go to a restaurant because there isn't a restaurant in the White House. There is, however, a person who cooks for you every day.....like omelettes in the morning for breakfast.

Shenanigans at the Park

We went to the park at St. Barnabas tonight after dinner. It was cold, but we had fun!

Zuri took William down the slide a few times. He enjoyed it (I know the pic on the right may indicate otherwise).

Happy Valentine's Day!

The kiddos received a few goodies from us and then Brent and I exchanged small gifts. :o)

 

 

 

We went to dinner tonight. William decided he wanted milk AND water. Haha!

Mother's Day...

Zuri informed me this morning that she had to find a gift for her best friend because it's her birthday. This is what she made. A picture and a bracelet. She also gave her this stuffed animal. You see it says "Mom" on it. That's because she gave it to me a couple years ago for Mother's Day. I asked her about it.....

Me: Zuri, do you realize you're giving her the stuffed animal you gave me for Mother's Day a couple years ago?

Zuri: Yes. I'm giving it to her in case she wants to give it to her mom for Mother's Day. 

Me:  Oh...okay....

Zuri: Don't worry, Mom, you'll get a new one next year. Wait, actually, I mean this year.
