William had a field trip to the historic Artcraft Theatre in Franklin today to watch Happy Feet. If you haven't been there, you should go check it out (https://www.historicartcrafttheatre.org/). I used to watch first run movies there when I was a kid. I remember seeing Titanic there 4 times (the 4th time, my dad asked me if I thought the ending would change and the ship wouldn't sink 🙄). Anyway, we had a good time!
I bought a magnetic calendar for the fridge in an effort to help Brent with all the things when I am traveling for work. My first trip is next week so I was filling out the calendar and before I added my flight info to this Weekly Planner, I let William write down a goal.

Today was a very busy day full of meetings. I had some breathing room in the morning, but after 10:30, it was back-to-back meetings. It made for a very hectic day. I was messaging with a colleague and we wanted to schedule a meeting to discuss Leadership Johnson County. He said, "Your calendar for today is stressing me out!" I said, "Yeah, tell me about it!" The view this morning while picking up Starbucks helped start my day off right so that helped me get through it! But......whew......what a Monday!

William joined the Indian Creek Swim Club back in September. He joined the Developmental Group to continue working on his technique. He has attended a couple home swim meets - one was for fun and the other was sanctioned. Today was his first away meet - the Donner Winter Invitational at Columbus North High School.
We all woke up around 6:00am (on a Sunday, remember!) so we could be at the pool by 7:30am. William stretched and warmed up with the team and then the meet began at 9:00am. William participated in 5 races: 25yd breast stroke, 50yd breast stroke, 25yd butterfly, 50yd freestyle, and the 200yd relay medley (50yd freestyle for him). While he was disqualified for both breast stroke races (not sure why yet; likely his stroke), he shaved time off both his butterfly (13.31s) and freestyle (28.88s). We are very proud of him! Go Indian Creek Swim Club Sharks!!

Today we celebrated my cousin, Breeanna, and her baby boy, Lennan. I still remember when I would babysit Bree. How is she having her own baby?! Her husband, Austin, is in the Marines and in Japan for training so she is back home to have the baby. Home being Kentucky, but her baby shower was in Indiana. We enjoyed food, games (Zuri and I won the Baby Bingo game!), and watching Bree open her gifts. Lennan will be here before we know it and I cannot wait!!
